Yoga for Athletes and Competitors: Hip Mobility

If you’re an athlete, a hip-opening class can help you create more integrity in your joints, improving your ease and performance in your sport. In this customizable practice, you will be encouraged to take each pose slowly, modifying as needed. You’ll do a block-supported, hip-opening sequence from seated, block-supported standing forward bends and twists, a shoelace pose sequence, a squat, longer holds in supine leg stretches, and more. Enjoy this opportunity to mindfully spend time with your hips!

Props: Blocks, strap
