Yoga to Support and Strengthen the Heart

Class Description

Handstand, forearm balance, plank series, backbends—this intermediate practice strengthens the foundational muscles of the legs and pelvis and the muscles surrounding the thoracic spine, or as Shari puts it, "the container of the heart." In every pose, Shari emphasizes focused observation of the qualities of the heart, lungs, blood, and breath. Take this opportunity to strengthen and open the connection between your head and your heart!
