Challenge Overview

If you're looking to start or re-boot a home practice (or simply looking to brush up on your yoga basics), join us for our brand new "Build Your Home Practice Challenge" with Luke Ketterhagen. This four-week challenge is composed of four classes which build progressively on each other. You'll start small, and gradually make your way to a 60-minute complete daily practice. Week one's practice is 15 minutes, week two's practice is 30 minutes, week three's practice is 45 minutes, and week four's practice is 60 minutes. Not only will this challenge take you deeper into asana, pranayama, guided relaxation, and meditation, but it will help you to cultivate a lasting home practice habit!

Section 1
  • This practice is a short (15 minutes!) yet comprehensive sequence you can do any time, and is the perfect way to get your home practice rolling! Luke will guide you through sun salutations, standing poses, core work, and much more. Return to this sequence daily or any time that you're short on time, but still want a practice to enhance your strength, flexibility, and balance.
Section 2
  • This week's practice is 30 minutes. It's designed to help you strengthen your relationship with asana and incorporate a little relaxation into your life! Join Luke as he guides you through yet another powerful practice with an extra-sweet savasana at the end. Build body awareness from head to toe, and carry the stillness and inner peace you gather from this practice into every day this week. Prop suggestion: blanket
Section 3
  • In this week's 45-minute class, Luke reminds you to take what you've learned so far into this strong and powerful sequence. This practice will conclude with a guided relaxation and (of course) a brief meditation practice. Prop suggestions: cushion, bolster, or block
Section 4
  • Connect to your internal stability in asana with this grounding yet energizing 60-minute sequence, which will introduce you to both bandhas (energy locks) and kapalibhati (skull-shining breath). Let your entire mind and body feel absorbed in the clarity, equanimity, and balance that results from this practice.
