Section 1
  • Learn about the five element wheel of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Section 2
  • Learn about the water element—including the season, color, personality characteristics, emotions, and organs of the body it's associated with. This module also includes a brief overview of physical practices associated with this element.
  • In this water element-inspired Pilates practice, you'll strengthen and release the back side of the body and do heat-building core work.
Section 3
  • Learn about the wood element—including the season, color, personality characteristics, emotions, and organs of the body it's associated with. This module also includes a brief overview of physical practices associated with this element.
  • In this wood element-inspired Pilates practice, you'll energize and engage the sides of your body, from the obliques to the outer hips.
Section 4
  • Learn about the fire element—including the season, color, personality characteristics, emotions, and organs of the body it's associated with. This module also includes a brief overview of physical practices associated with this element.
  • In this fire element-inspired Pilates practice, you'll focus on big and bold movements that will help you open and expand through your upper body.
Section 5
  • Learn about the earth element—including the season, color, personality characteristics, emotions, and organs of the body it's associated with. This module also includes a brief overview of physical practices associated with this element.
  • In this earth element-inspired Pilates practice, you'll build strength and stability in the center (core) of the body.

  • The Metal Element
