Section 1
  • According to ayurveda, menopause is simply a bridge between one fulfilling stage of life (pitta, or fire) and another (vata, or wind). In this module, you'll learn more about what ayurveda refers to as "the three stages of life" (particularly the vata stage), and you'll also learn more about how yoga and ayurveda can help you thrive during menopause, both physically and mentally.
  • In this module, Kathryn outlines how the following practice can benefit you as you enter the vata stage of life.
  • It's time to practice! You'll begin with a centering exercise that includes breathwork, chanting, creative visualization, and setting an intention of gratitude. Then you'll move into an asana sequence that explores the prana vayus (subdivisions of prana, or life force) and focuses on improving digestion and circulation.
