Welcome to Balancing the Chakras. Chakras are subtle energy centers within the body that significantly influence our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. In Sanskrit, "chakra" means "wheel," symbolizing their role as vital spinning energy centers.
In this challenge, you’ll explore seven primary chakras including: Muladhara (Root Chakra), Svadhisthana (Sacral Chakra), Manipura (Solar Plexus Chakra), Anahata (Heart Chakra), Vishuddha (Throat Chakra), Ajna (Third Eye Chakra) and Sahasrara (Crown Chakra).
Throughout this series, Dayna Seraye will guide you through seven 20-minute hatha yoga sessions, each designed to help you connect with the physical and subtle aspects of each chakra. You'll engage in mantra, mudra, breathwork, and movement practices to harmonize and revitalize each energy center. These sessions, whether practiced individually or in sequence, can have a profound impact both on and off the mat.
