Section 1
  • Download your EBOOK

  • Explore the journey ahead by discovering the key concepts of anatomy and energy you'll engage with throughout this course. Gain insight into how Yin Yoga postures support both physical structures and subtle energetic systems for greater balance and awareness.
Section 2
  • Explore how the vertical structure of the spine influences movement and sensations within the body. Learn about the four spinal regions, five directions of movement, and how Yin Yoga cultivates spinal resilience, longevity, and enhanced awareness.
  • Enhance spinal mobility and inner clarity through this Yin Yoga class that explores all four regions of the spine and the five directions of movement. Begin with a grounding body scan, move through folds, bends, and twists, and conclude with a restorative backbend. Buddhist contemplative techniques are woven throughout to cultivate clear awareness and a deeper connection to the spine's central energetic channels.
Section 3
  • Discover how the structure and function of the shoulder girdle contribute to its unique versatility and range of motion. Engage in simple shoulder movements to feel the anatomy firsthand, then explore how Yin Yoga postures can foster balance and stability in this dynamic joint. Conclude with three targeted poses designed to support shoulder health.
  • Enhance shoulder mobility and stability with a Yin Yoga class that integrates arm variations and dynamic movements within familiar yin postures. This sequence is designed to release tension, support joint integrity, and promote the flow of breath, lymph, and subtle energy throughout the upper body. You'll also explore the emotional and energetic dimensions of the upper body through a metta meditation woven into the practice, concluding with a luxurious guided savasana.
Section 4
  • Examine the structure of the pelvic girdle—including its bony landmarks and musculature—and its essential role in stability, mobility, and energetic flow. Learn how Yin Yoga postures can support pelvic symmetry and balance by releasing tension and fostering both physical ease and energetic grounding.
  • Connect with the potent energy of the pelvic region through mindful movement and Yin Yoga postures. This practice includes several yin postures with a few yang engagements to soften, stretch and strengthen the psoas, known as "the spirit muscle." Conclude with a grounding four-minute seated meditation to integrate balance and ease through the hips and pelvis.
Section 5
  • Discover the fascial network—sometimes called "the organ of organization"—and its role as a dynamic, integrative system for the whole body. Explore the key elements of healthy fascia and how Yin Yoga supports connective tissue function, enhancing the flow of energy, neural communication, and long-term mobility.
  • Promote hydration and resilience in your fascia (connective tissue) with a practice combining fluid movements and static Yin Yoga postures. This session supports the slide-and-glide function of fascia and concludes with an extended guided savasana, inviting a sense of deep interconnectedness—both within yourself and with the world around you.
