Sandbag Breathing

In this guided breathing practice, you’ll lie in savasana with a sandbag (or a bag of rice or even your hands) resting on your belly. Breathing against resistance strengthens your diaphragm so that in times of stress you can more easily tune in to relaxed, diaphragmatic breathing.

Props: sandbag, cushion (optional)
