When the weather turns cold and dry, it's time to pacify vata dosha (the cold, light, dry aspect of our constitution). Kathryn emphasizes the importance of including abhyanga (self-massage with oil) in our daily routine, to keep the body moist. She also suggests calming the frenetic vata energy of this season by adopting an asana practice that is grounding, restorative, and rejuvenating, to give us durability and stability through the winter.
