The Unconscious Mind: Answers to Our Questions

September 5, 2013    BY Rod Stryker

In this video excerpt from Rod Stryker’s The Four Desires ecourse (Chapter 2, Module 3), Rod compares Western and Eastern views of the unconscious. The West views the unconscious as a storehouse of all emotions and suffering, while the East recognizes the human potential to be conscious of everything, including the contents of our unconscious mind. Yoga helps us to first calm the mind and then tap into the unconscious, which holds solutions to our problems and answers to our questions.
