Learn how to activate the vital fire and energy at your navel center and how to keep this alive, bright heat from leaking out of its container—your own torso. This sequence engages the navel center though postures and pranayama practices, and you will also learn bandhas (locks) to contain the heat and energy created. You’ll become more aware of how breath feeds your inner fire, and you will understand why the sun salutation salutes not only the sun, but also your own blazing fire at your solar plexus.
