Plank—it's you against gravity. So how do you avoid collapsing in the shoulders and losing spinal integrity?

Learn therapy ball techniques that will help you warm up the tissues of the abdomen and develop proprioception (sensory input) in the rib cage, scapulae, trapezius, and rhomboids. Then learn how to activate these muscles without therapy balls as you build your plank, step by step.
