Section 1
  • In this short (four-minute) intermediate AcroYoga practice, Chris and Brian share "bow" and "bird" in three parts: first a silent demo so that you can see what's happening, second part with a thorough explanation of the roles of base and flyer, and third with an additional person to show the spotting so you can learn the safety cues. Have fun!
Section 2
  • This two-minute AcroYoga tutorial will teach you how to practice "throne" and "throne presses" in three parts: a silent demo where you'll get to witness what's happening, an examination of the role of base and flyer, and finally, incorporating a spotter.
Section 3
  • Find your majestic AcroYoga throne and learn how to transition back to bird! Chris and Brian will offer a comprehensive tutorial: first they'll offer a silent demo, second they'll break down the roles of the base and flyer, and then they'll bring in a third person to show you how to spot for safety!
Section 4
  • Let's practice back plank and back bird! Chris and Brian will demonstrate these poses in three ways: first they'll offer a silent demo, second they'll break down the roles of the base and flyer, and lastly they'll bring in a third person to show you how to spot for safety. This three-minute practice is tons of fun. Take flight!

  • Hand Balancing Tutorials: Tuck Sit and L-Sit

  • In this three-minute, three-part AcroYoga tutorial, Chris and Brian will demonstrate "foot to hand" in three parts: a silent demo, base and flyer roles, and spotting for safety. Bases: You'll learn alignment techniques for staying strong through the wrists so that you can support your partner's flight in a fun and safe way! Flyers: You'll learn alignment tips to secure your balance. Spotters: You'll learn how to provide support so that the flyer can find freedom of expression in this pose.

  • Want to learn a fun new AcroYoga pose? Let's explore candlestick in this quick three-minute intermediate-level video! Chris and Brian will prepare you in three ways: a silent demo, exploring base and flyer roles, and spotting for safety. Unroll your mat, grab a couple of friends, and give it a try!
