Welcome to Exploring the Yamas. The Yamas constitute the first limb of yoga as outlined by The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. These ethical principles and moral disciplines are designed to guide practitioners toward right conduct and harmonious living.
The five Yamas include ahimsa (non-violence), satya (truthfulness), asteya (non-stealing), brahmacharya (moderation), and aparigraha (non-attachment).
Over the course of this challenge, Lauren Lewis will lead you through a series of five 20-minute vinyasa sessions designed to help you embody and integrate these profound yogic philosophies into your practice and life. Whether experienced individually or sequentially, each session can be deeply impactful on and off the mat.
