Section 1
  • This (30-minute) practice is a comprehensive exploration of backbend fundamentals that includes pose breakdowns of half locust, locust, camel, and more. This will provide both a roadmap for beginners and an in-depth breakdown for advanced yogis who are looking to refine their practice.Ready to start?
Section 2
  • In this well-balanced and invigorating 45-minute class, you'll do a variety of poses to warm up your whole body, and then move on to a standing series. You'll also get to practice ustrasana (camel pose) and seated poses before winding down in savasana. Finish the practice feeling strong and supple with a renewed sense of vitality!
Section 3
  • This enlivening 30-minute practice is designed to lead you toward an expansive backbend: wild thing. As you move progressively toward this heart-opening pose, Sianna invites you to tap into a sense of wonder, abundance, and awe.Taste the nectar of your life and embrace the honey in your heart.
Section 4
  • What if we faced adversity with friendliness instead of fear? Join Ruby for this 16-minute flow, which includes plenty of heart-opening backbends and lateral (side-bending) poses. This sequence is designed to help you cultivate a joyful state of mind in preparation for whatever life may bring!
Section 5
  • This one-hour Jivamukti practice will get you flowing through sun salutes to mobilize and awaken your body, then you'll practice standing poses and core work before transitioning into backbends: locust pose, bow pose, wheel, and more!Ready to begin?
Section 6
  • Join Kat for this lively 60-minute backbend class that will help you open through the front of the body (the chest, shoulders, hip flexors, and quads) and also strengthen the back of the body (hamstrings, glutes, and spinal extensors). This sequence includes intoxicated cobra, camel, laghu vajrasana ("little thunderbolt pose"), a wheel pose walkover at the wall, a lizard lunge variation, and much more. Enjoy this creative, fun, and challenging experience!
Section 7
  • This slow, strengthening practice focuses on expansive backbends and sidebends. You'll practice parivrtta parsvakonasana (revolved side angle), dhanurasana (bow pose), full vasisthasana (side plank), urdhva vasisthasana (wild thing), and more. If you're up for a challenge, this practice is for you.
