Are you up for challenging yourself and adding a playful spin to your asana practice?

Join us for the Peak-to-Peak Challenge: Exploring Creative Pose Transitions. 

Every day for seven days, you'll get a brand new 30-40 minute asana class emailed to you directly! Each class builds up to a fun peak transition. Although the peak transitions feature intermediate to advanced poses, Dina makes every class accessible so that yogis of all levels can participate. 

And remember: You never have to "achieve" any particular asana (or, in this case, transition!). Much of the joy of practice comes from the process of working toward them. We hope you join us for this exciting new challenge—and that it inspires your practice, both on and off the mat.

Section 1
  • Join Dina for this short class that will help you build toward a challenging peak transition: bound side angle pose to bird of paradise. Preparatory work for this transition includes plenty of hip-opening and balance work, like warrior dogs, lizard poses, hand-to-big-toe pose, and much more! Ready to start?
Section 2
  • Learn how to transition from ardha chandra chapasana to baby dancer. To help you prepare, Dina offers plenty of backbending, balancing poses, and quad stretches. This sequence includes a dynamic fingertip cobra, half frog pose, half moon, warrior III, a floor prep variation of the peak transition, and more. Enjoy the process!Prop: 1 block
Section 3
  • Learn to flow from wild thing into wheel pose! Build toward this transition with preparatory poses like half moon bow pose (ardha chandra chapasana), bow pose (dhanurasana), a wrist-stretching variation of downward facing dog (adho muka svanasana), a shoulder-stretching side angle variation, and much more. Let's practice!
Section 4
  • Join Dina for a 40-minute class that will help you work toward a peak transition from side plank to full splits. Preparatory poses will build sequentially and ease you toward your goal. They include: standing splits, pigeon pose, planks, chaturangas, hamstring stretches like supta padangusthasana (reclining hand-to-big-toe pose), and much more.
Section 5
  • Twist through your upper body and get strong through your lower body. Join Dina for a short (40-minute), yet challenging practice that will systematically build toward a creative transition from garudasana (eagle pose) to eka pada koundinyasana I (arm balance dedicated to sage Koundinya). Preparatory poses include: powerful chair pose variations, revolved half moon, high lunge twists, fallen triangle, and much more. Enjoy this challenge!
Section 6
  • Join Dina for a 40-minute practice that builds to a powerful transition from eka hasta bhujasana (leg-over-shoulder pose) to eka pada koundinyasana II (flying splits). This transition requires super-open hips and hamstrings and a strong core and upper body. We'll work toward it with preparatory poses and flows such as surya namaskar A, flying lunge, side angle, humble warrior, fire log pose, and more.\n\nEnjoy exploring!
Section 7
  • Join Dina for a class that builds up to a challenging arm balance transition: tiptoe pose to dragonfly. To move toward this transition, you'll practice asanas that strengthen your upper body and core, open your hips, build balance, and prepare you for deep twists.\n\nRemember: Playing is an important part of the learning process. Enjoy!
