Kids ages three to six are invited to join Mayuri Gonzalez of Little Flower Yoga for this fun and engaging exploration of mindfulness, yoga poses, and breathing practices. This program includes five short (under 15-minute) classes: a core-focused class, a relaxation and restoration class, a sun salute practice, a balance-themed class, and a “move and freeze” class that provides a fun way for kids to get comfortable with finding stillness.
Mayuri keeps the classes lighthearted and fun by incorporating singalongs as she breaks down the practices and their benefits in kid-friendly ways. She also includes lots of repetition to enhance the learning experience. This is the perfect opportunity to get the kids in your life started with a yoga practice, or to give them new practices to enjoy if they are already little yogis!
