A Complete Restorative Practice

Give yourself true comfort and quiet in this restorative yoga class where you’ll take your time in every way. You’ll spend 10 to 20 minutes in each pose in order to experience deep relaxation, and you’ll move slowly in and out of poses.

The practice begins with a guided relaxation in elevated chest pose. After that, you’ll move into side-lying savasana, supported reclined twists, a “three piglets” backbend, “legs over a chair” pose, and savasana.

You’ll need the following props for this class: 2 bolsters, 5–6 blankets, 3 blocks, eye pillow or washcloth, and a sandbag (optional). If you don’t have these props, tune in to Andrea’s tutorials on how you can turn household items into yoga props.
