A Twisting, Folding Flow for Larger Bodies

In this seated and standing class, Amber offers alignment tips, variations, and breathing cues that can be helpful for people with larger bodies.

You’ll begin with a warm-up in the chair. After that, you’ll use the chair as a prop for a standing pose series that includes an innovative and accessible revolved lunge variation. In the second half of class, you’ll move the chair aside for another twisting lunge variation followed by a standing wide-legged forward fold, paschimottanasana (seated forward bend), a seated twist, and more.
